Slow

It is very slow to download a magazine. Compared to other apps providing the same service it is a weak point... 1 issue took me over 2 hours to download.

Love it

I love this app. I wait for the new issue to come out evey month. Ive bought all the issues from the start. I have just one bad comment and that is that therenare waaaaaayyyyy to many ads!!! The firts ones were not like this and now i feel like im not buying a martha magazine but a book of ads.

Survey

I love the mag but dont want to do a survey every time. At the moment I cant get out of it, every time I try to open up to see an issue it takes me to the survey even though I have done it. Some technological glitch but very frustrating!

Not stable

App closes often during downloading of pages.

beautiful and useful

Beautifully done, really nice and easy to use and incredible price. Strictly recommend this app to anyone who likes a beautiful home, nice kitchen and things done with style. Full of creative ideas.

Just Platin wonderful

I first encountered MS Living about 12 years ago while doing an internship in Canada. I fell in love became addicted. The tablet issue is done carefully and intelligent and gives me the opportunity to get the magazine even though living in Germany at a reasonable prize. Thank you Martha!

I Love it

5 Stars from me!

Could not be more perfect!

Where is the January 2014 issue?

The next issue is already published and available by Zinio, so what is the problem with the digital publication via itunes for Apple machines?

What?

This magazine was the reason I bought my first Apple device, and now what? Minuscule copies of paper pages you can hardly read. I want to cancel my subscription and get my money back. Apple sucks anyway.

Sadly its devolving backwards

I have been a subscriber to the iPad version of MSL since fall 2012. Back then, eMagazines were still rather new and especially German magazines were very much behind in this field. So I was very positively surprised, impressed and happy about the American version of MSL being so well thought through, interactive and easy to navigate. Im a huge fan and although a German version of MSL is nowadays available as well, I always preferred the original one. At this point the magazine would have gotten five stars from me. With the January 2014 issue the MSL iPad team got rid of the interactive cover, which I found very disappointing. I gave feedback on that, but Im not sure it was ever received. At that point it would have been fours stars from me. Sadly the team changed the inner layout of the magazine with the April 2015 issue once more and not for the better. Where has all the interactive content gone?! And why are there ads on every other page now? Why are articles no longer together (flipping to the next page/over the next ad instead of scrolling down)? The whole fun and enjoyment of reading this magazine have gone for me and I strongly question if theres any added value to this magazine left at all. For me its just another ePaper now and Ive the feeling its sadly developing backwards. Coming from a publishing background myself, I do understand the costs and time involved in this kind of product, but for me the MSL iPad version set an example for other ePublications. Im quite frankly sad that all the things I enjoyed so much about this product are gone. Therefore I can only rate this product with two stars now.

Martha Stewart Magazine

I purchased an annual subscription online but cannot access the magazines. Not very user friendly. A very expensive mistake!

Crashes

This app crashes since the last os update. I cant access any of magazines that I previously downloaded, or the new magazine. Please fix.

Extremely disappointed

This December issue provides too much efforts in advertisements with little contents worthy to keep. CANT zoom in pages as most iPad books or docs, cant put bookmarks or highlight on recipes, can only read in portrait. Martha, we buy your magazine for your contents not those multi-media ads (auto talking?) which inflates the file size for downloading. Wish there was sample preview before purchase that will certainly reduce ‘Regret buying’.

Love it!

I do have to say I love it. I love that I can save it for future reference without having the pile up. I cant give it five stars only because I didnt like the commercial type adds that couldnt be passed without starting, and having to press the "done" button to move on. some adds give you the choice to view and that should be the way for all.

Love the app BUT

There appears to be no way to email a recipe! I can do it with the Everyday Food app (which is terrific) so why not with the recipes from Living? Please fix this! Then it will be a 5-star app.

Want to print recipes.

Love the mag, but I really wish I could print the recipes. If I could do that it would be five stars.

I cant download latest items

I updated the app and I cannot download the March and April issues. It keeps giving an error message which says that the files are missing or not valid.

After iPad system upgrade

Cant get issues from my latest subscription since upgrading iPad this past weekend. How to fix?? Generally love the mag but ads are annoying!

Ok

Great format but lacks ability to bookmark or annotate.
